Ken Rabin - Proprietor
Ken has had a fascinating and varied life as a world traveler and holds degrees in both political science and history. It's his love of history, his family, and a passion for great food and wine that brought him back to continue the Morry's tradition.  Creating an updated 21st Century Morry's is a wonderful but challenging venture and Ken has been the backbone behind it all.  Ken and his wife Minna are now grooming their sons Markus, Johan and Henrik - the fourth generation - to take on important roles at Morry's in the future. Annie Rabin - CFO/Managing Buyer
Although she was brought up in the tradition of Morry's Annie actually started her official career in the film business.  After making a name for herself there, however, she decided it was time to return to Long Beach and apply her varied skills to to the family business.   Annie holds a degree in art and film and with her eclectic and varied taste she has brought a sense of fun, elegance and artistry to the Morry's legacy.  Annie is responsible for our boutique items as well as the deliciously decadent food items that we carry.  Her taste and palate are expressed throughout the store and "The Backroom."  You can reach her at arabin@morrys.com.

Dan Hanes - Beer & Wine Buyer/Floor Manager
Born and raised in Northern California Dan comes from a family that was growing hops as far back as the 1800's!  Now living in Long Beach while attending school Dan is the man behind bringing back beer to Morry's.  While he's well versed in beers from around the world his expertise is microbrews, most especially those from California.  He's here to help you find that perfect brew to set up your meal or find a unique and memorable gift for that beer loving friend. Cinthia Madrid - Chef/The Backroom Wine & Cheese Bar 
Cinthia Madrid comes to "The Backroom" fresh from a successful stint at on of the hottest spots in L.A., "One Sunset" in West Hollywood. She has also worked at the legendary "L'Orangerie" with Chef Ludovic Lefevre and at "Bastide" Chef Alain Giraud, as well as for the "commercial king" Joe Pytka. Cinthia comes from a family that loves to cook and joined her mother in the kitchen at the tender age of eight.  Cinthia is passionate about using the freshest ingredients and creating the perfect wine and cheese pairings as well as an exciting dining experience unique in Long Beach.  Notes Cinthia, "I love to make people smile with satisfaction because of something I made. Justin Evelyn - Bartender/The Backroom
Justin has spent the last seven years in the beverage industry furthering his knowledge of wine, beer & spirits. He began in the industry at Holiday Wine Cellar in San Diego, which houses one of the largest selection on wine, beer and spirits in Southern California. Before moving to Long Beach, he was the beverage director at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens which offers an ever-changing selection of craft beer, boutique wines and eclectic international cuisine. Justin's passion for wine, beer & spirits have driven him to continue to expand upon his own knowledge, while making every effort to give our customers an approachable and enjoyable experience. Melissa Balmer - P.R. & Marketing Director
Melissa Balmer is a local writer and public relations specialist with a background in marketing, the gift industry, food and the arts.  She is a proud LB native and fascinated by its colorful history.  Mad for things Italian (rich reds, unfiltered virgin olive oil, Lake Como, and seasonal eating), she is gathering support for a “Slow Food” chapter in Long Beach.  In March of 2008 she chaired Morry’s first annual “V-Day” celebration, a successful fundraising event in “The Backroom” for the local “WomenShelter of Long Beach.” She has overseen articles placed on Morry's in The Press Telegram, the Grunion Gazette, District Weekly and Long Beach Magazine. Erin Haught - Event Coordinator 
Erin Haught is originally from Columbus, Ohio, but moved to Long Beach from Miami, FL.  She has a B.A. in Theatre Arts and in order to support her addiction to the arts has become a steadfast part of the Morry's family.  Erin has been involved in the restaurant industry for 15 years, beginning with her passion for coffee.  After working on and off in the coffee industry, Erin began to become fascinated with wine, another social yet complex beverage.  Erin is currently having fun learning more about white wines while also thoroughly enjoying her position as Event Coordinator at Morry's.  If there is one thing Erin is great at it's planning a party!  You can reach her at events@morrys.com.
 
Leanna Rodgers - Event Consultant 
Leanna brings her experience to Morry's through her years in the hospitality and food/beverage industries.  A native to Long Beach, Leanna graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in Theatre Arts.  She is also a vocalist/recording artist pursuing her artistic endeavors.  She honed her food & beverage, marketing, sales and event planning experience on the famous Queen Mary, working directly for the Vice President.  In addition, the experience she has gained over the years in various career capacities and industries, Leanna has brought a unique understanding to her role within Morry’s.  Notes Leanna "my desire is to design special events at Morry's within The Backroom and outside locations (i.e. gondola wine cruises, private events) that create the sense of an exclusive VIP atmosphere, mixed with bliss, relaxation and renewal - upholding what Morry's has always represented to her growing up in the family business."  You can reach her at lrodgers@morrys.com
